Small Groups

Road Sign

So many pastors wonder why their church isn’t growing!

God gives us a relevant model in the New Testament that when followed, will produce discipleship, fellowship, and evangelism. According to Acts 2:46 “Every day they (the New Testament Church) continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” What is happening here? The church is meeting in the temple courts (public places of worship) but then they take that connection to a deeper level and meet in homes. What was the result? Acts 2:47 reveals: “The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

If you are a Pastor and don’t have small groups meeting in people’s homes as a major function of your church, now is the time to start following this New Testament model. God grows His church by using groups where believers can meet and do life together!

If you have a desire to start small groups in your church, but you are just unsure of what to do or where to begin, please contact me for a consulting appointment. I would love to teach a one-day seminar that explains the functions and principles of small groups. This seminar is geared to train leadership as well as laity and can change the destiny of your church!

If you would like to have me lead a one day small groups conference at your church or meet with you for small groups consulting please contact me at barrymichaelyoung@yahoo.com.
